another beer & burger outfit! this time the white isn't the pop of color, like in cake's look, it's the base. valley used some neon gems to make sure here look is popping off the page! don't you just love the orange & blue together?!?!?! the colors together are fantastically complimentary yet they contrast enough that each color keeps bouncing off one another- making them more vibrant.  hope you're all have a great tuesday.

here's a look at what cake where out to dinner, it was full of beers & burgers! when a night is as classic as b&b's a girl needs a comfy, chic, and hair pulled off the face look! clearly only a master at eating the big burger would know that :) ha! plus, don't you just love a white blazer?!?! it makes every other color you're wearing pop. look at that orange & navy top. plus a little neon yellow clutch?!?! LOVE!!!

it finally arrived, happy friday!!! so in the last few posts you probably notice we both cut our hair a good few inches {see here for old hair, see here for new hair.} now, don't worry this wasn't a spur of the moment decision, we made sure to do our research. lots of research. so today we're sharing our inspiration pictures. just look how fabulous all these short haired beauties are!!!

R&R. valley.

these are the last of the california pictures for cake & valley. it's a sad day :( good thing valley has an adorable look to wrap up the trip! common how amazing is this top? we're both loving it so much we both bought it!!! the seaming, the heavy weight fabric, and graphic stripes were calling to us, "buy us, buy us!" it's a must have for the winter to spring transition! and just imagine it with white jeans & a red lip in summer . . .  can't wait :)

R&R. cake.

oh what wouldn't we do to get a little bit more of R&R today. not only would we like a little rest & relaxation, we'd probably appreciate going back to russian river valley too!!! you can almost feel the warm california sun coming through the computer screen :) guess if we can't go back in time, we'll take comfort in the fact that today is wednesday & we've made it half way through the work week! yippee!!!
