here's valley's vintage pick from little french dress shop; a colorful belted peplum top. pretty stunning right?!?!!? there were a few reasons valley picked this top 1) the colors are stunning & a little washed out so they can be worn with denim, white, black . . .  basically anything 2) the shape & cut of the top is super flattering. 3) hello, there's a matching belt! what's not to love about a matching belt!!??!

sorry for not posting yesterday . . . the day just slipped away from us :( did you miss us?!?!? well, we promise to make it up to you. welcome to vintage week!!!! super fun, right :) today & tomorrow's posts are a collaboration with a a super feminine & retro etsy shop called little french dress. while we aren't over the top vintage bloggers we do love a classic beautiful piece that can withstand the fads & fashion of time! cake was instantly drawn to this 1960s sweater coat. all the layered lines & colors made it a great year long versatile closet staple!

well no snow yet :) the weather has gotten more cooler but we're in the clear {so far}! our hopefully thinking & crossed fingers have served us well! and it's the weeeeeeekend!!! woot woot. today cake says good-bye to one of her favorite co-workers, sad face; and valley finishes up her academic school year, smiley face!!

how'd you all enjoy may 1st?!?!?! super exciting that spring has finally arrived . . . well at least for half the country. can you believe it's snowing in denver & half the midwest. sad face.  keeping our fingers crossed we don't get any of it where we live. if we do we'll both be well equipped as neither of us have put away our winter wardrobe & swapped in our spring/summer clothes. especially those little helpful accessories like hats, scarves, and cute white sweaters :)
