portsmouth. cake & valley

so, we're still out in new hampshire, but this time we went to the new hampshire coast!  we hopped in the car and headed east.  as we drove we yelped {definitely just made yelp into a verb} a local seafood place. and by local, we mean, down a dirt road, a few left turns, and we found the joint. it didn't disappoint!  our dad would have been so proud, he is a restaurant hunter. it wasn't unusual when we were growing up for our family to drive a few hours for dinner.  after lunch we headed to the beach to watch the boats float by. all in all it was a great day.
