  1. Question-How do the women above get the textured/piecey look on the their hair? Is is product and if so, what do you recommend? I have tried for a long time to figure out the best way to get that look.

  2. well we're not hair dressers but here's our best advice!

    1) it probably starts with the right hair cut & layers. take lots of pictures to your stylist.
    2) if you can let your hair air dry, do that.
    3) do not straighten the whole look. flat iron only the section that need it. ie a weird wave at your hair line, a super frizzy piece, or just the ends.
    4) if you curl your hair leave the last 1/2 inch to inch out of the iron. it will make the curls look more natural & it will give irregular shape to your layers. as opposed to looking to perfect.
    5) use a styling putty on the tips. twist little sections together, be sure to alternate directions.
    6) style your hair in the morning & wear all day as is. hit the sack & sleep on it. bedhead can do wonders- especially when your going for a textured look :D

    hope this helps a little!!!!
thanks for stopping by the blog!
